Since the early days of 32 Bar Blues, one of our favorite artisan potters has been handcrafting beautiful candle cups, mugs and whiskey tumblers for us in her Oceanside studio. As a touching gesture in support of our nonprofit 32 Bar Blues Foundation efforts, she has created a limited-edition guitar & keys whiskey tumbler for us - inspired by our popular 32BB Foundation T-shirt art.
Each cup is wheel-thrown, hand-stamped, stained and double-fired through a meticulous multi-step process. The durable, deep-toned clay gets its rustic color from manganese and iron; and a unique glaze combination provides the undulating pattern. Variations in tone and hardened drips along the base are part of the cup's handmade character. Exclusively crafted for us in California. Approximately 3 ¼" diam, 3 ½" h. (8 oz.)
As part of 32 Bar Blues' founding mission to support the arts, the proceeds we receive from the sales of these tumblers will go toward building new arts partnerships and will be dispersed among our current nonprofit arts partners listed under THE ARTS. |
