Working with the Jazz Foundation of America, we designed our first Hearts of the Art t-shirt to help raise awareness and crucial funds to keep the JFA going strong through these unprecedented, challenging times. 100% of the profits received from the sale of the shirt will be sent directly to the JFA COVID-19 Musicians' Emergency Fund. Cotton-poly. Imported. Turquoise Heather or Heather Gray. Web only: Red-Black Heather. Sizes: M-XXL.
For more than 30 years, the Jazz Foundation of America has worked to keep blues, jazz and roots music alive by helping the musicians who have played the soundtrack to our lives. When illness, accident, disaster or old age impacts the lives of working musicians, the JFA is there with compassion and discretion to help provide emergency assistance, pro bono medical care, financial support and meaningful gig and work opportunities.
With a board of directors that includes Quincy Jones and Danny Glover, and a dynamic group of musicians, advocates and social workers overseeing day-to-day operations, the JFA is a small team that accomplishes big things. In the past year, they’ve assisted in more than 9,000 cases in 41 states across the nation. With the pandemic's continued impact on live music tours, concerts and gigs, the JFA's work has become incalculably more urgent.
